Salary: up to £40,000 depending on experience
Location: Runcorn - on-site role

Overview:
Payroll opportunity offering personal growth, development, progression, and projects. New software is presently being built and will be implemented in the next 3-6 months which you will then rollout.
An apprentice is starting in September 2024 who you will grow, develop, and mentor.
You will lead all things payroll and provide the MD and Operations teams with solutions and long-term continuous improvement.
You will be able to make this role and the payroll department your very own and you can progress your payroll career, or even develop into a Finance Manager – it is your choice.
Duties will include:
First-hand processing of multiple, high-volume payrolls
Calculating and paying commission payments
Processing statutory returns including tax, NI, RTI, and FPS
Resolving and minimising payroll queries
Reporting payroll data and payroll compliance for HMRC
Continuous payroll process improvement, software rollout and training
Supporting projects
About You:
Up to date and relevant first-hand experience in payroll
Excellent experience of payroll best practices
Exemplary knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Leadership skills
